	<p>So obviously that means if you&#8217;ve got the brain and the guts to go out there, you can acquire new customers at a lower cost.</p>

	<p>Let me ask you a question&#8230;</p>

	<p>Has your life changed dramatically?</p>

	<p>Stop listening to the media bullshit and turn off all that negative thinking for a moment.</p>

	<p>Just answer me honestly, &#8220;Has your life changed dramatically during this failing economy?&#8221;</p>

	<p>I do understand that some people get laid off. But for most people, their income stays the same.</p>

	<p>But for most people, their lives haven&#8217;t changed that much.</p>

	<p>What happens during times like this is people delay their major purchases. Things like new cars or second homes, etc.</p>

	<p>So if their income stays the same, and they aren&#8217;t making major purchases, that means your prospects actually have more disposable income.</p>

	<p>And if you&#8217;re in the information marketing business, it&#8217;s during these times that people want advice. They want guidance or certainty. But most importantly, they want clarity.</p>

	<p>If you can provide those things to them, you&#8217;ll prosper.</p>

	<p>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s happening&#8230;</p>

	<p>The weak will fade out. They&#8217;ll go away because they don&#8217;t have the stomach for it. But the strong marketers&iexcl;K the smart ones&iexcl;K will survive and they&#8217;ll thrive.</p>

	<p>They&#8217;ll come in right behind all those who leave and clean up.</p>

	<p>And if you&#8217;re on my list. I believe you should be very excited at this precise moment.</p>

	<p>The rich will get richer while the poor get poorer and the middle class stagnates.</p>

	<p>It ain&#8217;t fair, but that&#8217;s life.</p>

	<p>10% of the people will get very, very rich during times like this while the 90% will get crushed.</p>

	<p>It&#8217;s your choice which group you will be in.</p>

	<p>In fact, just last week, a friend of mine just bought a commercial building for 2.8 million and the appraisal just came in for $9.1 million.</p>

	<p>Are there opportunities during this economic downturn? You <span class="caps">BET</span>.</p>

	<p>Could you do a deal like this? Probably not. Because you don&#8217;t believe you can do it.</p>

	<p>It all comes down to how you look at it. This is not positive thinking. This is factual thinking.</p>

	<p><strong>Don&#8217;t follow the masses. Don&#8217;t believe everything the media is saying and have a sheep mentality.</strong></p>

	<p>I never heard from him after he bought those products.</p>

	<p>Then he attended one of my presentations&#8230;</p>

	<p>He introduced himself, and we chatted for a while about various topics. He told me how much he liked my materials and how much benefit they gave him. <strong>I told him that was great, and I was glad to hear it. </strong></p>

	<p>A few months later, he called my office and told me he wanted some coaching and consulting for his business. So, what happened here?</p>

	<p>From that first book, to the home-study program, to the coaching, consulting, and copywriting over several years&hellip; he has paid me $45,000.</p>

	<p><strong>$45,000. One client.</strong></p>

	<p>So why am I telling you this?</p>

	<p>I want to give you a concrete, real-life example of a marketing funnel. When you&rsquo;re marketing on the internet, you need to have an Ascension Ladder.</p>

	<p>Your customers start climbing your ascension ladder when they buy your first, low cost product. Then you continue marketing to them to buy your next higher priced item. <strong>Your third product will be more elaborate and yet higher priced than the second product.</strong></p>

	<p>If you don&#8217;t have an ascension ladder in your business, in my opinion, you really don&rsquo;t have a business.</p>

	<p>A single ebook is just an ebook. A membership site is just a membership site.</p>

	<p>If your customers do not see your ascension ladder, or how they can have more access to you through higher priced products, then your business does not have legs.</p>

	<p>Some people say to me, &#8220;But Dan, my business is different. I only have the ebook.&#8221;</p>

	<p>If that&rsquo;s the case, then you have two options&hellip;</p>

	<p>Number one, joint venture with someone who offers high-end products and mail to your list.</p>

	<p>Or two, you create something that will give you locked-in, reoccurring revenue. Having a continuity program in place that will give you reoccurring revenue will make your business sustainable and more solid.</p>

	<p>Sometimes when I&#8217;m traveling, I&#8217;ll read 2 or 3 books while I&#8217;m on the road.</p>

	<p>People frequently ask me how the hell do I read one book a week. They&#8217;re always surprised to hear that&#8230; as busy as I am, how can I still manage to read so much.</p>

	<p>If I am really busy, I&#8217;ll just buy the audio version of the book.</p>

	<p>Then I listen to them while I am working out or driving.</p>

	<p>I don&#8217;t read a book in a painstaking way.</p>

	<p>I don&#8217;t read to memorize or learn everything the author has to say.</p>

	<p>I quickly read a book in search of golden nuggets of useful information I can very quickly implement in my business.</p>

	<p>Sometimes, I just read the table of content.</p>

	<p>Sometimes, I just skim the book.</p>

	<p>Sometimes, I just read the summary at the each of the chapter.</p>

	<p>I want to extract one to three good ideas I can put into action within the next 30 days.</p>

	<p><strong>If I only find <span class="caps">ONE</span> big idea that I think is worth putting into action in my business, then I&#8217;m satisfied.</strong></p>

	<p>That&#8217;s all I need.</p>

	<p>In other words, I don&#8217;t read books. <span class="caps">I USE</span> books.</p>

	<p>My approach simply reflects the nature of doing business on the internet.</p>

	<p>Business on the internet is highly fluid and dynamic.</p>

	<p>It can change very quickly.</p>

	<p>Remember, it&#8217;s not how much you know. It&#8217;s how fast you learn.</p>

	<p>Wealth is attracted to speed.</p>

	<p>Depends on the quality of the resale rights products.</p>

	<p>Depends on how many resellers are out there in the marketplace.</p>

	<p><strong>And most importantly, depends on your marketing skills.</strong></p>

	<p><strong>I&#8217;ve made over $250,000 marketing resale right products. </strong>In fact, one of my best-selling programs &#8211; The Rebel Millionaire, I acquired the resale right from Vincent James.</p>

	<p>1. Only purchase rights to products that have real value to the end user. In other words, don&#8217;t sell crap!</p>

	<p>2. Only purchase rights to unique exclusive products that haven&#8217;t been resold thousands of times already.</p>

	<p>3. Only purchase rights from a credible author or a writer who has a trustworthy and reputation name in the market place. You will save a lot of time because you don&#8217;t have to create a product on your own.</p>

	<p>4. Only purchase rights that include ready to use website, product images like an eBook cover and a professional sales page. You will save a lot of money because you don&#8217;t have to hire a graphic designer for all of this.</p>

	<p>5. Only purchase rights that allow you to keep 100% of the profits.</p>

	<p>Once you&#8217;re making a decent income selling the resale rights, I would immediately invest that profit and create your own products.<br />

That&#8217;s how you build a long-term, sustainable business. </strong></p>

	<p>But even when I was broke and I was driving a lemon, I never worry about gas prices.</p>

	<p>I guess if you&#8217;re an employee and all you got is a J.O.B. (just over broke), I can be more forgiving.</p>

	<p>Because you&#8217;re on a fixed income and you&#8217;ve got a family to feed.</p>

	<p>But that&#8217;s the masses. That&#8217;s the poor and the middle class.</p>

	<p>We&#8217;re <span class="caps">NOT</span> the masses. We&#8217;re <span class="caps">NOT</span> one of them. We&#8217;re entrepreneurs. We are wealth creators.</p>

	<p>We don&#8217;t think like the poor.</p>

	<p>We know there isn&#8217;t a damn thing we could do about gas price anyway. We still have to drive our cars.</p>

	<p>So why worry about things you <span class="caps">CANNOT</span> control?</p>

	<p>What you <span class="caps">CAN</span> control is changing your financial situation.</p>

	<p>When you get to the point where you&#8217;re making so much damn money, crap like how much gas costs won&#8217;t matter anymore.</p>

	<p>The story basically went like this&#8230;</p>

	<p>A reporter went into Ford&#8217;s office. And he came in with a challenge, &#8220;Well, since you&#8217;re <span class="caps">SOOO</span> successful, show me how intelligent you are.&#8221;</p>

	<p>He went on to ask a lot of tough questions and Henry Ford had no idea how to answer them. So the reporter told him: &#8220;Listen, I&#8217;m gonna write about you. I&#8217;m gonna write about how uneducated you really are. I&#8217;ll show people why you don&#8217;t deserve the kind of success you have.&#8221;</p>

	<p>Though offended by the reporter&#8217;s remarks, Henry calmly called all his managers to come into his office. Then he suggested the reporter to ask him questions again.</p>

	<p>This time, everything changed.</p>

	<p>When the reporter asked any of his questions, Ford&#8217;s managers had answers to all of them.</p>

	<p>And after a few attempts to bring the wealthy man down, the reporter gave up saying, &#8220;That&#8217;s <span class="caps">NOT</span> fair. You&#8217;re cheating. I&#8217;m asking you, not your managers.&#8221;</p>

	<p>But Henry Ford answered, &#8220;Well, I don&#8217;t need to have all the answers. I don&#8217;t need to. I just need to know who to call.&#8221;</p>

	<p>You see, you have to do it by youself, but you can&#8217;t do it alone.</p>

	<p>Internet business is a team sport. You can&#8217;t do it alone.</p>

	<p>I&#8217;ll rephrase that again:</p>

	<p>I don&#8217;t care how smart you are.<br />
I don&#8217;t care how talented you are.<br />
You <span class="caps">CANNOT</span> do it alone.</p>

	<p>I am where today because of my <span class="caps">TEAM</span>?K because of my <span class="caps">MENTORS</span>?K because of my <span class="caps">FRIENDS</span>?K because of all my contacts and networks!</p>

	<p><span class="caps">NETWORK</span> saves <span class="caps">LEGWORK</span>.</p>

	<p>Just because we have an Internet business doesn&#8217;t mean we don&#8217;t need to have a team.</p>

	<p>It&#8217;s crucial to have a team. This includes your employees, your mentors, freelancers, graphic designers, web masters, etc.</p>

	<p>Outside your business, your mastermind group?K your partners?K your mentors?K your advisors?K professionals etc. who can help you with many things you couldn&#8217;t!</p>

	<p>Now the question is:</p>

	<p>&#8220;Are you actively going out there and meeting people, developing important relationships in your life?&#8221;</p>

	<p>Business success a lot of times is based on relationships.</p>

	<p>See when you have a problem, and you try to solve it on your own (because you&#8217;re so damn smart)?K</p>

	<p>&#8220;What if you can just <span class="caps">PICK UP THE PHONE</span> and get the best answers you could get?&#8221;</p>

	<p>Not by your own efforts this time, but through other people&#8217;s? You don&#8217;t even know how much time you can save with this. Or how many costly mistakes you can avoid with this.</p>

	<p>Listen, when I have a problem, when I need something, I don&#8217;t try to do it solely on my own!</p>

	<p>I do have a big ego, but I don&#8217;t let it get in my way. Most of the times I&#8217;ll pick up the phone, and call who I think would have the best answers.</p>

	<p>What am I talking about?</p>

	<p><strong>YouTube.</strong></p>

	<p>Now you should know YouTube pretty well. But allow me give you some facts:</p>

	<p>Fact #1: YouTube went from <span class="caps">ZERO</span> to 4,000,000,000 <span class="caps">MONTHLY</span> visitors within 3 months. And it&#8217;s still growing by a staggering rate each day.</p>

	<p>Fact #2: In 2006, YouTube won Times Magazine&#8217;s &#8220;Invention of the Year.&#8221;</p>

	<p>Fact #3: YouTube is in the Top 5 most valuable web properties in the world.</p>

	<p>Fact #4: YouTube features videos from hundreds and thousands of members, and has made <span class="caps">MANY</span> people famous.</p>

	<p>Fact #5: And get this-more than 75,000 new videos are uploaded every, single day (you see that right.)</p>

	<p>Fact #6: Last but not least-YouTube serves up to two hundred <span class="caps">MILLION</span> clicks daily.</p>

	<p>What does that mean to you as a marketer or an Internet entrepreneur?</p>

	<p>Well, it only means there&#8217;s a <span class="caps">HUGE</span> amount of traffic ready to be tapped into-if you know how to use YouTube to drive more visitors to your web sites.</p>

	<p>We&#8217;ll discuss how you can use YouTube to drive massive views on your web sites in a while.</p>

	<p>But first, <em><strong>&#8220;What makes a good YouTube video?&#8221;</strong></em></p>

	<p>If you notice, a lot of the videos on YouTube are made by amateurs.</p>

	<p>They&#8217;re usually not professionally filmed videos.</p>

	<p><strong><em>But that&#8217;s what makes YouTube attractive, isn&#8217;t it?</em></strong></p>

	<p>These videos are not really professional, and most of the time &#8220;RAW&#8221;, but it&#8217;s realistic.</p>

	<p>Sometimes, they are just <span class="caps">THAT</span> much more interesting because they&#8217;re not really perfect.</p>

	<p>To answer our previous question, I&#8217;ll reveal some of my ideas here.</p>

	<p><strong>You see, I&#8217;m actually in the process of developing some of my videos to be uploaded on YouTube and use them to drive traffic to my web sites (there&#8217;s a &#8216;science&#8217; to it&#8230; as some of my clients have proven time and again with their YouTube videos).</strong></p>

	<p>Here&#8217;s what I learned:</p>

	<p>YouTube Strategy #1 &#8211; Your videos should be short. These shouldn&#8217;t be long movies, as people are busy and look for instant gratification most of the times. No more than 3 to 4 minutes.</p>

	<p>YouTube Strategy #2 &#8211; Then, you&#8217;d want your web site <span class="caps">URL</span> at the bottom of your videos, so people can see it.</p>

	<p>YouTube Strategy #3 &#8211; Next, this is <span class="caps">IMPORTANT</span>: Think of some ways to make your videos viral. See, people on YouTube are constantly on the mindset of: &#8220;If I like a video, I&#8217;ll like to pass it to my friends.&#8221;</p>

	<p>So you want your videos to have some, one or <span class="caps">ALL</span> of these characteristics:</p>
 &#8211; Some of the videos I see pass around are usually <span class="caps">FUNNY</span>. Well people love to laugh. They love to make <span class="caps">OTHER</span> people laugh. So if your video&#8217;s funny, it&#8217;s got humor, people are more likely going to pass it on to their friends.
 &#8211; Something really weird.
 &#8211; Something really shocking.
 &#8211; Something really gross.
 &#8211; Something just, <span class="caps">SHOCKING </span>(again). People love to pass those around.
 &#8211; Something really interesting.
 &#8211; Curiosity is <span class="caps">ALWAYS</span> good.
 &#8211; A demonstration is great (especially for targeted traffic). Let&#8217;s say you have a product, you can show people how it works with your video. Give them a peek at what&#8217;s in it for them inside.
 &#8211; Something sexy (can you miss this?).
 &#8211; Something personal, it could be your own story.

	<p>I mean&iexcl;K there&#8217;s so much you can do!</p>

	<p><strong>There&#8217;s an incredibly huge potential with YouTube.</strong></p>

	<p>I suggest you open your mind and at least look into how you just <span class="caps">MAKE SOMETHING </span>(again, doesn&#8217;t have to be perfect) to feature on it.</p>

	<p>Plus, a lot of these things are <span class="caps">COMMON SENSE</span>!</p>

	<p>You don&#8217;t have to buy any products to learn how to make videos people talk about. You see, what do you think would make a good video <span class="caps">YOU</span> would want to pass on to your friends?</p>

	<p>Write them down, choose one of them and be your own producer for the first time if you haven&#8217;t (trust me, it&#8217;s fun too).</p>

	<p>If you have, can you figure out how to benefit from some of the strategies mentioned above?</p>

	<p>Go on there, make a video for traffic purposes or simply for demonstration.</p>

	<p>Of course we&#8217;re barely scratching the surface of what you can do with YouTube. If you can get a little creative, there&#8217;s a <span class="caps">LOT</span> more you can do on this amazing place.</p>
